baboon-mask-grey
Baboon Mask, Grey

A full overhead latex baboon mask with hand-painted facial detail and grey and yellow faux fur attached around it. It is heavier and better finished than the thin moulded masks, and it holds its shape between wears.

What's in the pack

Full overhead latex mask

Sizing & fit

One size, made for adults. It pulls down over the whole head, so tie long hair back or flatten it first. The latex has some give, but the neck opening is snug: ease it on from the chin upwards rather than dragging it over your face.

Styling it

Very little else is needed. A plain dark top and a pair of gloves let the mask do the work, or add a safari keeper's outfit if you want a scene.

Care

Wipe the inside with a damp cloth after wearing and let it dry fully before it goes away. Store it stuffed with tissue, out of sunlight and away from heat, as latex perishes if it is left folded or hot. A light dust of talc inside stops it sticking to itself.

More like this

There is a good spread of overhead pieces in masks, and it belongs with the rest of our animal costumes. It is a strong pick for Halloween, and the gloves and extras are in accessories.

Safety: This is a full-head mask, so vision and hearing are reduced and it warms up quickly. Take it off regularly for air, never wear it while driving, and do not wear it at all if you have a latex allergy.
