Does the adhesive come with it?
The small stick-on pieces, the toothbrush moustache, the goatee, the sideburns and the animal whiskers, arrive with adhesive already on the back and go straight on. The larger beards, including the maxi beards and the Santa sets, hook over the ears on elastic instead, so no glue is needed.
Will it stay on all evening?
Elasticated beards will, as long as you get the loops behind your ears rather than resting on them. Self-adhesive pieces last a few hours on clean, dry skin. Shave and skip moisturiser beforehand, and press the piece down for a good ten seconds when you first put it on.
How do I get it off without taking my skin with it?
Work slowly from one edge and pull along the skin rather than away from it. A little baby oil or micellar water on a cotton pad softens the glue if it is holding on. Never pull a stuck adhesive beard off in one go.
