Frequently Asked Questions

Is any of it real metal, and will it irritate my skin?

None of it is fine jewellery. It is plated alloy, acrylic gems and faux pearl, made to look right for one night rather than to be worn every day. If you know you react to costume metals, keep the wear time short and take rings off before bed.

Are the rings and bracelets one size?

Almost all of them are. The rings are open-backed or slightly adjustable so they close around most adult fingers, and the bracelets are cuffs or elasticated. The Egyptian snake bracelet and the gold cuffs sit high on the forearm rather than at the wrist, which is how they are meant to be worn.

How do I stop the plating rubbing off?

Put jewellery on last, after make-up, hairspray and fake tan, and take it off first at the end of the night. Wipe it with a dry cloth rather than washing it, and keep pieces apart in the box so the gems do not scratch the plating.
