Glasses & Eyewear

Shutter shades, steampunk goggles, novelty specs and hip hop frames. Cheap, instant character.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will they fit over my own glasses?

Most will not. The novelty frames and shutter shades are sized like ordinary sunglasses and sit awkwardly over prescription lenses. The goggles are the better bet if you wear glasses, as they sit further off the face.

Can you see through the tinted ones?

Yes, but they are darker than they photograph. The yellow and orange 90s lenses and the mirrored frames dim things noticeably, so they work better outdoors or in a lit room than in a dark club.

Will they last the night?

They are light plastic and priced to match — fine for an evening, not for a fortnight. The shutter and star frames are the ones most likely to get sat on, so buy a spare pair if you are kitting out a group.
