The range runs from an £8 girls' pirate up to a £78 space warrior, with the licensed names — Batman, Batgirl, Pennywise, Ghostbusters, Cat in the Hat — sitting next to the old reliables: witches, devils, skeletons, reapers, scarecrows and a lot of clowns. Fancy dress sizing runs small against high street sizing, so if you are between two sizes take the larger one; a costume that is slightly big can be belted, a tight one cannot be fixed.
