Neon fishnet fingerless gloves start at £2.49 in pink, orange and yellow, shutter glasses are £3.49 and bucket hats run from £6.49 for the summer party ones to £18.99 for rainbow plush. The five LED masks at around £15 are the standout, because they actually light up and that is the whole point after dark. There is only one full costume in the range, a girls' neon skeleton tutu, so treat this as the accessories aisle for an outfit you already own rather than a place to buy a whole look.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do the LED masks need batteries?
They run on small button or AAA cells depending on the mask, and they are supplied with a set fitted so you can test them straight away. Bring a spare set if you are out all night, as the flashing modes drain them faster than the steady one.

Will the neon items glow under UV light?
The fluorescent pink, orange and yellow pieces — the fishnet gloves and shutter glasses in particular — react strongly to blacklight. The plush bucket hats and rainbow items look bright in daylight but do not glow in the same way.

Are the fingerless gloves one size?
They are one adult size in stretch fishnet and fit most hands, with the long versions reaching to just below the elbow. They are thin, so they ladder easily on rings and rough surfaces — at £2.49 a pair, most people buy two.
