Description

Shaped black bat wings, 50cm across, with neatly stitched edges and an elasticated harness at the back. They are fabric rather than printed card, so they survive being worn more than once.

Sizing & fit

One size. The elasticated harness goes over the shoulders and across the back, and stretches to fit older children through to adults. At 50cm wide they read clearly as bat wings without being unwieldy in a busy room.

Styling it

Wear them over an all-black outfit with a set of fangs. A hood or a high collar takes the same look further towards gothic.

Care

Spot clean with a damp cloth and a little mild soap, then let them air dry. Do not machine wash. Store them flat so the shaped edges keep their line.

What's included?

What does one size actually fit?

One size items are cut to fit most adults, roughly a UK 8 to 16, and use elasticated or adjustable fastenings where they can. If you are outside that range, check the measurements in the size guide before ordering — one size is generous but it is not infinite.

Is this costume fire-safe?

All of our costumes are made to the toy safety standards required for sale in the UK and carry the appropriate labelling. That said, no costume is fireproof. Keep well away from candles, pumpkin lights, open fires and cookers, and never leave a child in a costume unsupervised near a naked flame. If you are lighting a pumpkin, use an LED tealight.

How quickly will my order arrive?

Order before 3pm Monday to Friday and we dispatch the same day. Standard UK delivery is 2-3 working days and free on orders over £40. Next-day delivery is available at checkout up to 3pm. In the week running up to Halloween we recommend ordering by the Monday to be safe — couriers get very busy and we would rather you had it early.

Can I return it if it doesn't fit?

Yes. You have 30 days from delivery to send anything back, provided it is unworn and still has its tags and original packaging. For hygiene reasons we cannot accept returns on wigs, fangs, cosmetics, prosthetics or hosiery once the packaging has been opened.
