Black Halloween Lipstick

A 4.2g twist-up lipstick in a dense, flat black from Moon Creations. It goes on smoothly and covers properly in a couple of passes, which is the bit cheap black lipsticks usually get wrong.

• One 4.2g black lipstick

Sizing & fit

One size. It is a standard lipstick bullet at 4.2g, much the same size as an everyday one, so there is nothing to fit. One stick will see you through several nights out.

Styling it

Line the lips with a black pencil first if you want a sharp edge, then blot and go over it again so it holds through the evening. Pale foundation and a smudged black eye finish it off.

Care

Wind the bullet down and cap it after use. Store it upright somewhere cool, as heat softens the stick and it will lean or snap. Wipe the top with a tissue between uses, and take it off with micellar water or a cleansing balm rather than scrubbing.
