Description

A 60cm axe with a brown shaft and a broad silver-effect head marked with dark red blood.

The whole thing is one hollow polyethylene moulding, so it is light and there is no hard edge anywhere on it. The blood is part of the paint finish and stays put, so it will not mark a costume or a sofa. It reads convincingly from a few feet away, which is as close as anyone gets on a doorstep.

What does one size actually fit?

One size items are cut to fit most adults, roughly a UK 8 to 16, and use elasticated or adjustable fastenings where they can. If you are outside that range, check the measurements in the size guide before ordering — one size is generous but it is not infinite.

Is this too scary for young children?

This one sits at the frightening end of our range and we would not recommend it for a primary school party or for children who are easily spooked. If you want the theme without the fear factor, look at our classic Halloween range — witches, pumpkins and skeletons get the same reaction without the nightmares.

How quickly will my order arrive?

Order before 3pm Monday to Friday and we dispatch the same day. Standard UK delivery is 2-3 working days and free on orders over £40. Next-day delivery is available at checkout up to 3pm. In the week running up to Halloween we recommend ordering by the Monday to be safe — couriers get very busy and we would rather you had it early.

Can I return it if it doesn't fit?

Yes. You have 30 days from delivery to send anything back, provided it is unworn and still has its tags and original packaging. Start the return at fancydressclub.co.uk/returns and we will email you a label. For hygiene reasons we cannot accept returns on wigs, fangs, cosmetics, prosthetics or hosiery once the packaging has been opened.
