Sizing & fit

One size, for adults. Latex stretches as it goes on, so it fits most head sizes; roll it on from the back of the head and tie long hair up first. It is a snug fit by design, which is what keeps the head steady when you move.

Styling it

Ordinary clothes are funnier than a costume. A suit, a dressing gown or a football shirt with the horse head is the whole joke.

Care

Wipe the latex inside and out with a damp cloth after use and let it dry completely. Comb the mane gently with your fingers. Store it stuffed with tissue, out of sunlight and away from heat, or the latex will harden and split.

What does one size actually fit?

One size items are cut to fit most adults, roughly a UK 8 to 16, and use elasticated or adjustable fastenings where they can. If you are outside that range, check the measurements in the size guide before ordering — one size is generous but it is not infinite.

How do I store a latex mask?

Wipe the inside with a damp cloth after wearing and let it dry completely before you put it away. Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from radiators, as heat and UV harden latex and make it crack. Stuffing it loosely with tissue helps it keep its shape between Halloweens.

Is this costume fire-safe?

All of our costumes are made to the toy safety standards required for sale in the UK and carry the appropriate labelling. That said, no costume is fireproof. Keep well away from candles, pumpkin lights, open fires and cookers, and never leave a child in a costume unsupervised near a naked flame. If you are lighting a pumpkin, use an LED tealight.

How quickly will my order arrive?

Order before 3pm Monday to Friday and we dispatch the same day. Standard UK delivery is 2-3 working days and free on orders over £40. Next-day delivery is available at checkout up to 3pm. In the week running up to Halloween we recommend ordering by the Monday to be safe — couriers get very busy and we would rather you had it early.

Can I return it if it doesn't fit?

Yes. You have 30 days from delivery to send anything back, provided it is unworn and still has its tags and original packaging. For hygiene reasons we cannot accept returns on wigs, fangs, cosmetics, prosthetics or hosiery once the packaging has been opened.
