Styling it

Hold it out at an angle rather than upright and it photographs far better. It finishes a black witch's dress and a pointed hat, and works just as well propped by the front door on Halloween night.

Care

Shake it outdoors to clear loose bristles and wipe the handle with a damp cloth. Keep it dry, as damp makes the straw droop, and store it hanging or lying flat so the bristles keep their shape.
