Description

An officially licensed full head latex mask of Freddy Krueger, with the scarred and burned skin sculpted and painted in properly. It pulls on over the whole head, so there is no join at the neck to hide.

Sizing & fit

One size, made for adults. Latex has a good deal of stretch, so it will go over most adult head sizes, but it is a close fit by design. Roll it on from the chin upwards rather than dragging it down over the face, which is what tears them.

Styling it

The hat and the striped jumper are what finish it. A brown fedora, a red and green knit and a clawed glove, and people will know exactly who you are.

Care

Wipe the inside with a damp cloth after wearing and let it dry naturally, then dust the inside lightly with talc to stop the latex sticking to itself. Store it stuffed with tissue or on a mask stand, out of sunlight, and never fold it flat.

What does one size actually fit?

One size items are cut to fit most adults, roughly a UK 8 to 16, and use elasticated or adjustable fastenings where they can. If you are outside that range, check the measurements in the size guide before ordering — one size is generous but it is not infinite.

How do I store a latex mask?

Wipe the inside with a damp cloth after wearing and let it dry completely before you put it away. Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from radiators, as heat and UV harden latex and make it crack. Stuffing it loosely with tissue helps it keep its shape between Halloweens.

Is this too scary for young children?

This one sits at the frightening end of our range and we would not recommend it for a primary school party or for children who are easily spooked. If you want the theme without the fear factor, look at our classic Halloween range — witches, pumpkins and skeletons get the same reaction without the nightmares.

Is this costume fire-safe?

All of our costumes are made to the toy safety standards required for sale in the UK and carry the appropriate labelling. That said, no costume is fireproof. Keep well away from candles, pumpkin lights, open fires and cookers, and never leave a child in a costume unsupervised near a naked flame. If you are lighting a pumpkin, use an LED tealight.

How quickly will my order arrive?

Order before 3pm Monday to Friday and we dispatch the same day. Standard UK delivery is 2-3 working days and free on orders over £40. Next-day delivery is available at checkout up to 3pm. In the week running up to Halloween we recommend ordering by the Monday to be safe — couriers get very busy and we would rather you had it early.

Can I return it if it doesn't fit?

Yes. You have 30 days from delivery to send anything back, provided it is unworn and still has its tags and original packaging. Start the return at fancydressclub.co.uk/returns and we will email you a label. For hygiene reasons we cannot accept returns on wigs, fangs, cosmetics, prosthetics or hosiery once the packaging has been opened.
