One size, made to fit most adult heads. The crown is a fixed shape rather than elasticated, so it sits on the head rather than gripping it. If you have a smaller head, a strip of foam or a few grips inside the brim will hold it steady.

Care

Velvet does not wash. Brush the pile gently with a soft clothes brush and spot clean marks with a barely damp cloth, then let it dry naturally away from radiators. Store it upright so the crown keeps its shape.

What's included?

You get the hat on its own: one green velvet top hat with the black band, gold buckle and gold shamrock already attached. No wig or beard is included.

What does one size actually fit?

One size items are cut to fit most adults, roughly a UK 8 to 16, and use elasticated or adjustable fastenings where they can. If you are outside that range, check the measurements in the size guide before ordering — one size is generous but it is not infinite.

Is this costume fire-safe?

All of our costumes are made to the toy safety standards required for sale in the UK and carry the appropriate labelling. That said, no costume is fireproof. Keep well away from candles, pumpkin lights, open fires and cookers, and never leave a child in a costume unsupervised near a naked flame. If you are lighting a pumpkin, use an LED tealight.

How quickly will my order arrive?

Order before 3pm Monday to Friday and we dispatch the same day. Standard UK delivery is 2-3 working days and free on orders over £40. Next-day delivery is available at checkout up to 3pm. In the week running up to Halloween we recommend ordering by the Monday to be safe — couriers get very busy and we would rather you had it early.

Can I return it if it doesn't fit?

Yes. You have 30 days from delivery to send anything back, provided it is unworn and still has its tags and original packaging. Start the return at fancydressclub.co.uk/returns and we will email you a label. For hygiene reasons we cannot accept returns on wigs, fangs, cosmetics, prosthetics or hosiery once the packaging has been opened.
