Description

The officially licensed Golden Snitch, with a textured gold body and fine moulded wings. It is a small prop that people recognise instantly, and it costs very little to add to a Quidditch outfit.

What's in the pack

1 x Harry Potter Golden Snitch prop

Sizing & fit

One size. It is a hand-held prop, sized to sit comfortably in an adult or older child's palm. The supplier does not publish exact dimensions.

Styling it

Hold it out in front of you in photos rather than tucking it in a pocket. It works with any house robe, and pairs well with the broomstick from the same range.

Care

Wipe with a soft dry cloth to keep the gold finish bright. Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners, and keep it dry. Store it somewhere the wings will not be crushed.

More like this

It goes with the rest of our weapons and props and works well alongside our kids' costumes and the World Book Day range.

Safety: A costume prop rather than a toy. The wings are fine and can snap, and small broken pieces are a choking risk, so keep it away from children under three.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's included?

One Harry Potter Golden Snitch prop, sold on its own. It has a textured golden body with moulded wings. Robes, brooms and other accessories are sold separately.

What does one size actually fit?

One size items are cut to fit most adults, roughly a UK 8 to 16, and use elasticated or adjustable fastenings where they can. If you are outside that range, check the measurements in the size guide before ordering — one size is generous but it is not infinite.

Is this costume fire-safe?

All of our costumes are made to the toy safety standards required for sale in the UK and carry the appropriate labelling. That said, no costume is fireproof. Keep well away from candles, pumpkin lights, open fires and cookers, and never leave a child in a costume unsupervised near a naked flame. If you are lighting a pumpkin, use an LED tealight.

How quickly will my order arrive?

Order before 3pm Monday to Friday and we dispatch the same day. Standard UK delivery is 2-3 working days and free on orders over £40. Next-day delivery is available at checkout up to 3pm. In the week running up to Halloween we recommend ordering by the Monday to be safe — couriers get very busy and we would rather you had it early.

Can I return it if it doesn't fit?

Yes. You have 30 days from delivery to send anything back, provided it is unworn and still has its tags and original packaging. Start the return at fancydressclub.co.uk/returns and we will email you a label. For hygiene reasons we cannot accept returns on wigs, fangs, cosmetics, prosthetics or hosiery once the packaging has been opened.
