Sizing & fit

One size, on a stretch cap made for children, though it will stretch onto a small adult head. Pin your own hair flat or use a wig cap underneath, particularly if it is thick, so the ponytails sit level.

Styling it

It goes with the matching Mira costume, but the wig alone over a plain outfit is enough for most people to spot the character. Bring the ponytails forward over the shoulders rather than leaving them behind.

Care

Synthetic fibre, so keep it well away from heat styling tools, hobs and hairdryers. Comb gently with a wide-tooth comb from the ends up. Wash only when it needs it, in cool water with a little shampoo, then dry on a wig stand and never brush it while soaking.

What's included?

Just the wig, in hot pink with the dual ponytail style at 55cm. Nothing else is in the pack, so a wig cap and the Mira costume would be bought separately.

What does one size actually fit?

One size items are cut to fit most adults, roughly a UK 8 to 16, and use elasticated or adjustable fastenings where they can. If you are outside that range, check the measurements in the size guide before ordering — one size is generous but it is not infinite.

How do I look after the wig?

Comb it with a wide-tooth comb or a proper wig brush, never a fine comb, and always from the ends upwards. Do not use straighteners, curling tongs or a hairdryer — the fibres are synthetic and will melt. Store it on a wig stand or back in its net so it keeps its shape.

Is this costume fire-safe?

All of our costumes are made to the toy safety standards required for sale in the UK and carry the appropriate labelling. That said, no costume is fireproof. Keep well away from candles, pumpkin lights, open fires and cookers, and never leave a child in a costume unsupervised near a naked flame. If you are lighting a pumpkin, use an LED tealight.

How quickly will my order arrive?

Order before 3pm Monday to Friday and we dispatch the same day. Standard UK delivery is 2-3 working days and free on orders over £40. Next-day delivery is available at checkout up to 3pm. In the week running up to Halloween we recommend ordering by the Monday to be safe — couriers get very busy and we would rather you had it early.

Can I return it if it doesn't fit?

Yes. You have 30 days from delivery to send anything back, provided it is unworn and still has its tags and original packaging. For hygiene reasons we cannot accept returns on wigs, fangs, cosmetics, prosthetics or hosiery once the packaging has been opened.
