Sizing & fit

One size. The ratchet closes down to fit most adult wrists and the key releases it again. Keep the key on you rather than in a coat pocket at the cloakroom.

Styling it

Hook them on a belt loop for a police outfit so they swing as you walk, or wear them loose on one wrist with a striped convict top.

Care

Wipe with a dry cloth after use and keep them somewhere dry, as bare metal will spot with rust. A drop of light oil in the ratchet keeps the action smooth. Do not put them in water.

What's included?

What does one size actually fit?

One size items are cut to fit most adults, roughly a UK 8 to 16, and use elasticated or adjustable fastenings where they can. If you are outside that range, check the measurements in the size guide before ordering — one size is generous but it is not infinite.

Is this costume fire-safe?

All of our costumes are made to the toy safety standards required for sale in the UK and carry the appropriate labelling. That said, no costume is fireproof. Keep well away from candles, pumpkin lights, open fires and cookers, and never leave a child in a costume unsupervised near a naked flame. If you are lighting a pumpkin, use an LED tealight.

How quickly will my order arrive?

Order before 3pm Monday to Friday and we dispatch the same day. Standard UK delivery is 2-3 working days and free on orders over £40. Next-day delivery is available at checkout up to 3pm. In the week running up to Halloween we recommend ordering by the Monday to be safe — couriers get very busy and we would rather you had it early.

Can I return it if it doesn't fit?

Yes. You have 30 days from delivery to send anything back, provided it is unworn and still has its tags and original packaging. Start the return at fancydressclub.co.uk/returns and we will email you a label. For hygiene reasons we cannot accept returns on wigs, fangs, cosmetics, prosthetics or hosiery once the packaging has been opened.
