One size, designed to fit most adults. Elasticated or adjustable where relevant.

Description

Mjolnir in the Mighty Thor colourway, with a lightning bolt running across a black and blue head and a wrapped handle. The head is textured rather than flat, which is what stops it looking like a toy mallet in photographs.

What's in the pack

Mjolnir hammer prop

Sizing & fit

One size. The hammer is moulded in light plastic and hollow, so it is easy to hold for a long evening and light enough for a child to carry. It is held in the hand, with no loop or strap.

Styling it

Pair it with a red cape and plaited hair for the Jane Foster version of Thor. A pair of boots and a plain long-sleeve top under the cape is usually enough to sell it.

Care

Wipe over with a damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid solvents and abrasive cleaners, which will dull the printed lightning detail, and store it away from heat sources.

Safety: A costume prop rather than a play weapon. Do not strike anyone with it and keep it clear of faces. Not suitable for children under 36 months.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's included?

The pack contains the Mjolnir hammer prop and nothing else. Any costume, cape or wig you want to go with it needs buying separately.

What does one size actually fit?

One size items are cut to fit most adults, roughly a UK 8 to 16, and use elasticated or adjustable fastenings where they can. If you are outside that range, check the measurements in the size guide before ordering — one size is generous but it is not infinite.

Is this costume fire-safe?

All of our costumes are made to the toy safety standards required for sale in the UK and carry the appropriate labelling. That said, no costume is fireproof. Keep well away from candles, pumpkin lights, open fires and cookers, and never leave a child in a costume unsupervised near a naked flame. If you are lighting a pumpkin, use an LED tealight.

How quickly will my order arrive?

Order before 3pm Monday to Friday and we dispatch the same day. Standard UK delivery is 2-3 working days and free on orders over £40. Next-day delivery is available at checkout up to 3pm. In the week running up to Halloween we recommend ordering by the Monday to be safe — couriers get very busy and we would rather you had it early.

Can I return it if it doesn't fit?

Yes. You have 30 days from delivery to send anything back, provided it is unworn and still has its tags and original packaging. Start the return at fancydressclub.co.uk/returns and we will email you a label. For hygiene reasons we cannot accept returns on wigs, fangs, cosmetics, prosthetics or hosiery once the packaging has been opened.
