Description

A 15ml tube of thick venous fake blood, made in the UK by Moon Creations. It is dark and slow-moving rather than watery, so it stays where you put it instead of running straight off the skin.

Sizing & fit

One size, a 15ml tube. That is enough for a few decent wounds or a good amount of dribbled detail on one person. If you are making up a group, buy two or three.

Styling it

Dab it on with a cotton bud and build it in thin layers rather than pouring it. A little at the hairline and on the cuffs sells the effect far better than a lot on the face.

Care

Recap the tube firmly and stand it upright somewhere cool. Wash it off skin with warm soapy water as soon as you are finished. It can stain fabric, so test a hidden seam first and rinse any splashes in cold water straight away.

What's included?

One 15ml tube of thick red fake blood, on its own. There are no brushes, sponges or applicators in the pack, so pick those up separately if you want them.

What does one size actually fit?

One size items are cut to fit most adults, roughly a UK 8 to 16, and use elasticated or adjustable fastenings where they can. If you are outside that range, check the measurements in the size guide before ordering — one size is generous but it is not infinite.

Is this too scary for young children?

This one sits at the frightening end of our range and we would not recommend it for a primary school party or for children who are easily spooked. If you want the theme without the fear factor, look at our classic Halloween range — witches, pumpkins and skeletons get the same reaction without the nightmares.

Is this costume fire-safe?

All of our costumes are made to the toy safety standards required for sale in the UK and carry the appropriate labelling. That said, no costume is fireproof. Keep well away from candles, pumpkin lights, open fires and cookers, and never leave a child in a costume unsupervised near a naked flame. If you are lighting a pumpkin, use an LED tealight.

How quickly will my order arrive?

Order before 3pm Monday to Friday and we dispatch the same day. Standard UK delivery is 2-3 working days and free on orders over £40. Next-day delivery is available at checkout up to 3pm. In the week running up to Halloween we recommend ordering by the Monday to be safe — couriers get very busy and we would rather you had it early.

Can I return it if it doesn't fit?

Yes. You have 30 days from delivery to send anything back, provided it is unworn and still has its tags and original packaging. For hygiene reasons we cannot accept returns on wigs, fangs, cosmetics, prosthetics or hosiery once the packaging has been opened.
