Realistic Rubber Bald Head Cap

A flexible rubber bald cap in a skin tone, made to sit over your own hair and blend at the edge. It is thicker and more forgiving than the thin latex sort, so it is a sensible choice if you have not done this before.

Sizing & fit

One size, and the rubber stretches to fit most adult heads. Flatten your hair down first, ideally with a hair net or gel; long or thick hair will still show as a lump under it, so pin it flat across the back.

Styling it

The edge is what gives a bald cap away. Blend it into the forehead with a little cream make-up in your own skin tone, then dust with powder to take off the shine. It is a good base for a monk, a wizard or an old man look.

Care

Wash the inside with mild soap and lukewarm water after wearing, then dry it fully and dust with talc before storing. Keep it out of sunlight and away from heat, as rubber perishes. Store it flat or lightly stuffed with tissue, not folded.
