2-3 years	92.5-99cm	54.5cm	50.5cm
3-4 years	98-104cm	57cm	52cm
5-6 years	110-116cm	60cm	55cm
7-8 years	122-128cm	66cm	58cm
9-10 years	134-140cm	71cm	62cm
11-13 years	142-154cm	78cm	67-68cm
14-16 years	156-170cm	87-88cm	71-75cm

Go by height rather than by your child's age. These are the maker's own figures and the bands are generous at the top end — the 11-13 years fits up to 154cm. Stand your child against a wall, measure to the top of their head, and pick the band their height falls in. If they are between bands, take the larger one, since costumes go on over normal clothes and October evenings are cold.

Description

An officially licensed Jurassic World Explorers velociraptor costume for toddlers, in soft jersey with printed detailing on the front and back. The padded tail detaches, which helps when your little one needs to sit in a car seat or buggy.

Sizing & fit

Three toddler sizes: 1-2, 2-3 and 3-4 years. Go by your child's height rather than age and check it against the size guide on this page. If they are between sizes, go up so there is room for a layer underneath on a cold evening.

Available sizes: 1-2 years, 2-3 years, 3-4 years. See the full size guide on this page before ordering.

Styling it

Plain trainers or soft shoes finish it, with a long-sleeved top underneath if it is chilly. Let your child try the headpiece at home first so it feels familiar on the day.

Care

Hand wash cold, do not bleach, do not tumble dry, do not iron printed or glued areas. Most costumes are made from lightweight polyester and are not designed for repeated washing.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's included?

You get the printed jumpsuit with its padded detachable tail, and the raptor headpiece. Shoes are not included.

How do children's sizes work?

Children's costumes are sized by height in centimetres, not by age, because children of the same age vary enormously. Stand your child against a wall, measure to the top of their head, and pick the nearest size up. Remember they will almost certainly be wearing a jumper underneath on a cold October evening.

Can I wash it?

Gently, and by hand. Costumes are made from lightweight polyester with printed and glued details that do not survive a washing machine. Hand wash cold, do not bleach, do not tumble dry and keep the iron away from any printed panels. Spot cleaning is usually enough.

Is this costume fire-safe?

All of our costumes are made to the toy safety standards required for sale in the UK and carry the appropriate labelling. That said, no costume is fireproof. Keep well away from candles, pumpkin lights, open fires and cookers, and never leave a child in a costume unsupervised near a naked flame. If you are lighting a pumpkin, use an LED tealight.

Will it last more than one night?

Yes, with reasonable care. These are proper costumes rather than disposable ones, and most of our customers get two or three Halloweens out of them before children outgrow them. Hang it up rather than leaving it in a bag, and keep any mask or accessory in the original box.

How quickly will my order arrive?

Order before 3pm Monday to Friday and we dispatch the same day. Standard UK delivery is 2-3 working days and free on orders over £40. Next-day delivery is available at checkout up to 3pm. In the week running up to Halloween we recommend ordering by the Monday to be safe — couriers get very busy and we would rather you had it early.

Can I return it if it doesn't fit?

Yes. You have 30 days from delivery to send anything back, provided it is unworn and still has its tags and original packaging. Start the return at fancydressclub.co.uk/returns and we will email you a label. For hygiene reasons we cannot accept returns on wigs, fangs, cosmetics, prosthetics or hosiery once the packaging has been opened.
