One size, on a stretch net cap that fits most adult heads. Pin your own hair flat underneath first, then set the front edge just behind your natural hairline so the braids sit where they should.

Styling it

Bring the loose waves forward over the shoulders rather than leaving them all at the back. A pale blue or grey gown and a dragon on the arm finish it, and keep make-up soft.

Care

Comb it through gently with a wide-tooth wig comb, working from the ends upwards so you do not drag the plaits. If it needs freshening, hand wash in cool water with a drop of mild shampoo, rinse and dry on a stand. Keep hairdryers and straighteners well away, as the fibre melts.

What's included?

The wig on its own, with the braided crown already styled into it. There is no wig cap, comb, stand or costume included, so add a wig cap if you have a lot of hair to tuck away.

What does one size actually fit?

One size items are cut to fit most adults, roughly a UK 8 to 16, and use elasticated or adjustable fastenings where they can. If you are outside that range, check the measurements in the size guide before ordering — one size is generous but it is not infinite.

How do I look after the wig?

Comb it with a wide-tooth comb or a proper wig brush, never a fine comb, and always from the ends upwards. Do not use straighteners, curling tongs or a hairdryer — the fibres are synthetic and will melt. Store it on a wig stand or back in its net so it keeps its shape.

Is this costume fire-safe?

All of our costumes are made to the toy safety standards required for sale in the UK and carry the appropriate labelling. That said, no costume is fireproof. Keep well away from candles, pumpkin lights, open fires and cookers, and never leave a child in a costume unsupervised near a naked flame. If you are lighting a pumpkin, use an LED tealight.

How quickly will my order arrive?

Order before 3pm Monday to Friday and we dispatch the same day. Standard UK delivery is 2-3 working days and free on orders over £40. Next-day delivery is available at checkout up to 3pm. In the week running up to Halloween we recommend ordering by the Monday to be safe — couriers get very busy and we would rather you had it early.

Can I return it if it doesn't fit?

Yes. You have 30 days from delivery to send anything back, provided it is unworn and still has its tags and original packaging. Start the return at fancydressclub.co.uk/returns and we will email you a label. For hygiene reasons we cannot accept returns on wigs, fangs, cosmetics, prosthetics or hosiery once the packaging has been opened.
