Frequently Asked Questions
Are these real weapons?
No. Everything here is plastic, foam or moulded rubber. The knives bend, the swords are light, and the cleavers, machetes and axes are painted props made to be seen from a few feet away rather than used.
Are any of them suitable for children?
The soft foam knife, the caveman bone, the bow and arrow set and the sword and shield sets are the ones children usually go for. Check the age marking on the product page, and keep the smaller props away from under-threes.
Can I carry one in the street?
Keep it in a bag between the front door and the party. Realistic-looking props cause obvious problems in public, even in October, and plenty of venues will not let them through the door — worth a quick check before you set off.
