If you only want to be recognised rather than fully dressed, the Iron Man metallic mask at £8.49 and the Black Panther half mask at £6.99 do it cheaply, and Thor is essentially a hammer — the Mjolnir is £6.49 and the Stormbreaker axe £10.99. The Captain America and Spider-Man pet costumes are for dogs, not children.

The costumes come with the jumpsuit and a fabric face mask. The Spider-Man gloves at £9.99 are a separate item, and they are worth adding because the wrists are the part that gives away a child's own clothes underneath.

What size are the pet costumes?
The Captain America and Spider-Man pet costumes are sized by the dog's back length and chest girth rather than by breed, so measure along the spine from collar to tail base before choosing. They fasten with hook-and-loop straps under the body and should never be left on an unsupervised dog.
